As I pen my fingers to my keyboard to write this post, I can't help but be surrounded by an air of disdain. Christmas has passed; and I'm certainly the type to begin counting down the big day starting three hundred and sixty five days in advance.
I'm definitely not into these 'What I Got For Christmas' posts, as I'm a genuine believer that Christmas is not about the gifts at all--but, then, I also must admit that I'm as nosey as it gets and I can't help but sneak a peak into other peoples' stockings.
Nevertheless, let's be honest, and admit that the greatest fun of Christmas isn't about the gift that's inside, but more about the unwrapping with your family near, the fire blazing, and A Charlie Brown Christmas humming softly in the background.
This year, I unwrapped certain beauty reading material, some delicious chocolate (that happens to benefit a great cause--now that's guilt-free), my favorite almond butter, a particular Giorgio Armani foundation, my favorite shower gel, a replacement of my much loved type of skincare oil, and many other far-too-generous gifts.
Truth be told, there will be a new beauty front coming for you all in twenty fourteen--but first, let's reign in the New Year.
I hope your holiday was as cheer-filled and lovely as mine.
