Aromatherapy Buying

There's something that sparks my adoration for aromatherapy when autumn and winter rolls around. Maybe it's down to the fact that the thermometer drops to the teens or single-digits. Or perhaps it's because I load on the blankets and spend too much time browsing beauty sites. Nevertheless, I've been eyeing up candles, bath products, oils, and anything with a dreamy scent like a hawk and two have landed at my doorstep.

Beginning with that bath and body category, let's talk Korres. Their range is available in Sephora and other select retailers, but nothing challenges their UK range. With nearly ten times more scents, variations of body milks, butters, scrubs, and a watermelon tinted moisturizer *swoon*, I couldn't help but order a UK counterpart. And I selected the Korres Vanilla Cinnamon Shower Gel. It's not your ordinary vanilla, cinnamon whiff, but more of a musky, slightly sweet, chic scent that adds some cold-weather comfort to my showers or baths.
As for the formula, I can't hesitate to say that Annabel has rubbed off on me and I've been making more vicarious choices in the beauty department. Crafted with active aloe juice, naturally enriched with vitamin C, E, zinc, and antioxidant enzymes, your skin will be left nourished and comforted. In addition, it's also concocted without mineral oil, and...with 89.8% natural content, but you'll have to get your own bottle to read the rest of the amazingness.

And then, there's candles. Considering there is no burning wood within my vicinity, I feel the need to simulate one within my room. I haven't had the confidence to splash out on Diptyque Feu de Bois quite yet--the epitome of make-believe fire scents--but I'm nearing the occurrence. Nevertheless, this time, I snatched the Malin + Goetz Dark Rum Candle. Sitting on my bedside table is the votive size (coming in at a purse-friendly fourteen dollars), but, you know what they say: 'good things come in small packages.' The scent? Top notes of bergamot and plum; middle notes of rum and leather; and base notes of amber-patchouli, and vanilla. And then, there's the formula, again--earth-friendly. It's devised with a natural blend of beeswax, and vegetable and soy waxes, too.

So, my habitat will be smelling l o v e l y over the next couple months. Don't worry, I keep you posted when they run out and I purchase a new aromatherapy duo. And breath....

  4. Korres is lovely and I'm always up for more recommendations! I find it hard to find some of their products in Canadian Sephoras though so I always check on Feel Unique! They have some lovely gift sets out right now and I'm so tempted!
