Oh, Jemma Kidd--many sing praises to your 'Light As Air' Foundation (which, for reference, I was never able to try), but my heart sings praises to your highlighter. Yes, we're talking about the Jemma Kidd Dewy Glow All Over Radiance Cream in Rose Gold. I try not to taunt all of you who are dewy-glow-less by singing its praises time and time again, but now, I can, because I've found a pretty good dupe.
The product in mention? The Benefit Watt's Up! Highlighter.
The first, and most notable difference between the two, is the storage--the Jemma Kidd in a compact and the Benefit one in a stick form, meaning that the Jemma Kidd one is a bit more stippling brush friendly, but there's no reason why you couldn't first apply to the skin, then blend with a brush for the Benefit.
Formula wise, the Jemma Kidd has much more of a velvety, dare I say, oily texture, whereas the the Benefit one is far more of a creamy texture. In fact, I think I may like the more sticky quality of the Benefit, where as, sometimes, the Jemma Kidd just seems likes it's sliding off my face, but it also means it's easier to blend.
Nevertheless, my favorite part and why I fell in love with Dewy Glow in the first place was the color. With Watt's Up! on the left and Dewy Glow on the right, you can see that they are very, very similar. If anything, the Jemma Kidd has a hint more orange, whereas the Benefit one is a tad more pink, nevertheless, they appear the same on the skin.
So--Jemma Kidd, we miss you dearly, but the hole in our hearts are slightly smaller now that we have a replacement. The only problem? How do I choose which one to slap on daily? Houston, we have a problem....
