The Brush Clean

There's always that time of day when we bust out the onsie, take off our 'working' clothes, and throw them in the laundry basket (most of the time because I'm too lazy to put them back in the drawer). If we give our clothes a clean after one use, then why not our makeup brushes? In all honesty, I've got other things on my mind *read I'm lazy* and would rather watch the most recent episode of Downton Abbey.
Nevertheless, once a week, I bust out the bubbles and give my brushes a good deep down clean...like a bubble bath for your bristles.

Get out the foundation laden brushes, washcloths, run the warm water, and crack open the Dr. Bronner's Magic Soap. Brush soap heaven, it's frothy, foamy, and leaves those bristles indescribably clean...not to mention there's a nice lavender scent left for the next morning slap on...how French countryside
It's simple - just wet the brush and squeeze some of the water out slightly. Add some Magic Soap to the palm of your hand and get sudsy. If your brushes are really dirty, you may have to repeat once or twice.
Foam filled fingers, accomplished! Rinse the brush out and begin with the next one.

A quick swirl onto a towel and I let them dry over the edge so you don't end up with a dreaded flat side...and voila!

Although my mom isn't a firm believer in the 'Brush Clean', I am and I clean her's for her anyway - what a nice daughter. Clean freaks and bubbly lovers, you better get your clean on...especially with some Magic Soap *cue angels singing*.
