Laura Mercier Second Skin Cheek Colour | Peach Whisper

Laura Mercer Second Skin Cheek Colour in Peach Whisper (longest name ever, eh?) is the perfect everyday sort of blush. Perfect for Mondays, Tuesdays, Sundays...and all the days in between. Not to mention, it's good enough that it's all my blush brush has touched since I bought it - over a month ago. I guess it only makes sense that I'm doing a review. It's about time!

Keeping in mind that my cheeks tend to get a bit red (but I have found something that really helps...hello Alpha H Liquid Gold, but that's for another time), Peach Whisper adds the perfect touch of  warmth and a bit of a "healthy glow" (like I haven't said that before) to my skin.

As for the texture - think butter in a compact...but in powder form. Not that I'm trying to create oxymorons, the texture of this product is amazing - everything you'd ever want in a blush.

At $24 a pop, these are a bit on the pricier side, but you really don't need that much product at all. I tap my brush into the pan three to four times...that's it! Unless you're a circus clown and use a ton of product each time you want to get some cheek color goin' on, this will last you a pretty long time.

Ah, Peach Whisper - where have you been all my life. I would say I'll let you know when I use this again, but it's probably a bit more fitting to change it to the contrary. In that case, I'll tell you when I go a makeup-face day without wearing this babe. Avoir...perhaps for a while, as my blusher rotation has come to a halt.
