The roses have died and I finished the box of Godiva chocolates this morning, so it's no surprise that it's the end of February and it's time for favorites.
You could say this has definitely been the month of the growing skincare wardrobe and peachy pinks....fitting.
Starting with skincare, you're probably not surprised to see a bottle of the Bioderma Créaline H20, as this has just been an absolute god send. You're probably sick of hearing about it at this point, but this is just amazing at removing makeup. Review here.
For cleanser, the REN ClearCalm 3 Clarifying Clay Cleanser is amazing! It's fantastic if you're acne prone, but not particularly oily, as I find this is so nourishing and clears spots like no other. It works so well, in fact, that I would no longer classify my skin in the acne category (yup, I said it). This has also replaced my Origins Frothy Face Wash. IT'S THAT GOOD! Okay, Lillian...calm yourself and take the finger away from the caps lock.
Another product you're probably not surprised to see is the Origins VitaZing Moisturizer. It smells amazing, makes my skin look gorgeous, adds just the right amount of color, doesn't make me look orange, and is just amazing. I did a review of this here, but, again, you're probably sick of hearing about it...I'm even sick of hearing about it, but I love it.
For the skincare makeup hybrid, the NUXE Rêve de Miel in all its buttery, nourishing, golden goodness is making an appearance. If you've got chapped lips, look no further than this glass containered babe. Luxe at its finest.
On to the makeup...
There have been some serious butt kicking, lashy favorites this month, starting with the Shu Uemura eyelash curlers. This is one of those cult, beauty editor favorites that I was lucky enough to find buried deep at the bottom of my mom's drawer. Of course they were snagged up and I now use them everyday. They reach every lash and are simply amazing. If you like curled eyelashes, you gotta' check these out.
For mascara, I think I have finally come to the conclusion that the Maybelline Full' N Soft mascara just rules supreme. It adds just the right amount of length, volume and just looks so natural, yet eye catching. It's also really build-able, but this is seriously such a great mascara.
Laura Mercier Second Skin Cheek Colour in Peach Whisper, why do you have to be such a beaute? This is the only blush I've worn all month....ALL MONTH! It's subtle, yet adds such a pretty, natural touch of color to the cheeks to make you look healthy and glowy.
Going along with glowy favorites, it's fair to say that I have rediscovered the Jemma Kidd Dewy Glow All Over Radiance Cream in Rose Gold. I'm so sorry, but this is nearly impossible to find anymore, but it is so good! I really hate the fact that I like it, as I can't get another one, but this is just the most gorgeous highlight ever.
Last but not least, the Real Techniques Buffing Brush has ruled supreme. I used to use the Real Techniques Stippling Brush, but now, I much prefer this one. It's so soft, blends tinted moisturizer effortlessly, is so easy to clean...I'm going to stop myself, as I have homework to do...
As sad as I am to see that last piece of chocolate go, I'm so excited for spring and I'm so happy March is near...wait, it is March. Would you like to see a post on my top beauty picks for spring?
