My morning appearance has been described far too many times (blurry eyed bases, anyone?), I won't go any further, but five minutes later after a slap of a few morning faves and I'm looking as good as nine hours of sleep (ahhhhh).
The squinty eye situation has been made clear (and I've been asked if I'm Asian far too many times, not that I'm against it), so the lashes get curled and the mascara gets coated. The eyelash curler of pick - the cult classic, the Shu Uemura Eyelash Curlers. For waterproof freaks like myself, the L'oreal Telescopic Shocking Extensions Waterproof Mascara (phew, that's a mouthful), holds a curl really nicely and adds a nice balance of volume and length. For those who avoid getting frustrated with the pulling and tearing with Bioderma on a cotton pad, the Lancome Hypnose Mascara offers curl and length like (you guessed it) doll lashes.
There has been a noticeable difference in the under eye area in the past six months. I'm trying to ignore the dark circles and bags for the while until I'm able to buy a new eye cream, but they are being slightly covered by the L'oreal Lumi Magique Concealer. Highlight and concealing in one, it offers a good bit of natural coverage on the bags and resists creasing. Most beauty freaks like myself know about the white eyeliner in the water line trick. Me and my subtle mind is more drawn to the nude tone idea, so the Rimmel ScandalEyes Waterproof Kohl Liner in Nude is cheap, cheerful, waterproof, and bloody amazing. I'm not too keen on this as a cheek highlight, but the MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft and Gentle is gorgeous as an inner corner highlight.
If that's not enough eye bright for ya, just revert back to a good nights sleep. Nights out or history tests (ughhh), all end the same way - blurry eyes and a slap of these good ol' products of tricks.
