Origins VitaZing | Review

Once upon a time, I found little joy in buying skincare things, let alone a day moisturizer. My only requirement then - spf. I tried more oil-free things for my ever-so-slightly greasy skin, but tight, "malnourished", and flakey was not what I was going for. Following my first high-end skincare purchase of the Origins Checks and Balances face wash (P.S. I think I've found something better...), I left with more than enough samples in hand, one of them being my new favorite moisturizer.

Being the light coverage lover that I am, the Origins VitaZing hits the nail on the head. A sheer tint to add a bit of a "summer glow"? Check, but don't be frightened! For pale skin gals like moi, no orange toned Jersey Shore ish tint is in sight. If my skincare routine has been checking all the right boxes, my daily face will go as far as this and concealer. Simple enough? I think so, yet it may result in me being the worst beauty blogger out there.

For my normal (ish) skin, this moisturizer adds the perfect amount of moisture, while still being oil-free. At the end of the day, I don't look too oily, nor do I look too dry. Let me add something - from that swatch that I did on the back of my hand, I can't stop petting my little paw - soft as could be. Unless you have someone petting your face (how would I know...you might), this may not be a big deal, but it really does feel gorgeous.

Radiance in a bottle? Oh yes, not to mention moisture, tint, and glow that lasts all day. Although Origins VitaZing is pretty pricey ($35 to be exact), it should last you a really long time (I've been using mine everyday straight for the past two weeks and no dent is in sight) and I think it should be a staple in everyones skincare wardrobe - dark skin tones and pale alike.
