As per my explaination in my "Beauty Products Not Worth the Hype Post," here I am with the products that took over my mind and left me a bit too excited and giddy.
No surprises here, as these are pretty much products that I always, always go on about...
Starting off with tools -
The Real Techniques Brushes are really hyped up over in the UK, and I'm just going to hop on the same train because I think they're fab. I used to love the stippling brush, but I recently bought the core collection and I think the buffing brush is fab as well (an update on that will be coming soon).
Similarly, if you love anything beauty related, you'll know that the Shu Uemura eyelash curlers are a cult, makeup artist favorite. The shape of these are insane and get each and every lash from the inner corner to all the way out in Hoboken (for those of you who live in New Jersey, but, in lame mans terms, on the outer corner).
Now, I'm not going to go too in depth about the Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer because (one) I've already raved about it enough and (two) I did a review on it here. Plus, the fact that it's making an appearance in this post should be enough to convince you to go out and buy it...
Now, I've already gone into the obscenity that is this name, but I haven't really talked that much about NARS blushes - my personal favorite being Deep Throat, but I also have Luster. The texture of these are gorgeous and they deliver the perfect dose of color and a "sexy sheen" and are super easy to work with.
I'm always on the look out for moisturizing/color in one type of lip products and the Korres Lip Butters definitely fit the bill - my favorite being the shade Pomegranate, but I also have Wild Rose. I have my eye on the shade Quince, but I don't really need to do any more shopping.
The Rimmel ScandelEyes Eyeliners are also one of those beauty blogger favorites in the UK. I have heard Vivianna rave about these too many times and I was so close to buying one of these on EBay. Luckily, these were just released in the US, so you can bet your dolla' that I ran with this in hand to the till. The texture of these are so creamy and they last all day.
Onto skincare things - you can bet that this section of things took a lot of editing, especially since I take all my recommendations from Caroline Hirons.
Bioderma Créaline H20 - another makeup artist favorite. Well, you can go ahead and call me a makeup artist as well (even though I'm far from it), because I love this! My skin is really prone to redness from harsher cleansers and things, and this does nothing in the redness adding category. I will be doing a review of this soon, so keep your eyes peeled.
Glowing, redness reducing, spot healing goodness? Does that sound good to you? Say hello to the Caudalie Beauty Elixir. The effects of this pretty much follows the bottle, but I also did a review of this here.
More often than not, I can't help but look a little pasty white in the mornings, and the Origins VitaZing Moisturizer really helps sort me out - with out that dreaded Jersey Shore-ish orange tint. I also did a review of this here.
The only spot remover that really gets rid of a spot over night - the Origins Super Spot Remover. This stuff is really holy grail material and is something I will always have in my stash.
I'm sorry if that ended up being a bit too "ravey", but what can you do, eh? What are some of your favorite hyped up products?
